This is it! May 2-4. The first long weekend of the season. Our summer friends are returning. Cottages will be opened, BBQ’s heated up and firepits ignited for the first batch of s’mores. Our summer ritual begins.

Whether they’re here year round (as in the case of the family from 1871) or summer residents (the other two) lakeside living is more than a way of life. They’ve been married here, some have had their children here, they even want their ashes scattered here.
May 2-4 is more than a summer ritual. It’s the celebration of those things many cottagers hold dear. Family memories.
