Last weekend opened up the lakes. Some bays still had ice which had blown in. But for the most part, the water was open. We saw boats, both motorized and people powered, 2 paddle boards, several pwc’s and one skier (in a wet suit). On top of that, several folk we know had their first ‘dip’. It’s a matter of principle. For some it’s being ‘first in’, for others the season has started and dock time demands a dip as much as a fire pit requires s’mores.
