Summer’s languid pace has already come to cottage country. Dock time is approaching full swing. As we head towards the official beginning of summer and the longest day of the year, sunset is firmly in the northwest. Water temps are not yet risen to spending much more than a quick cooldown in the lake, but that will change.

Paddle boards and paddle boats, canoes, kayaks and shells can be seen. Wake boards, surfers and skiers are out too. Just this week a small fleet of dippies circumnavigated Browning Island on Lake Muskoka. Leading the flotilla was one which had recently been converted to electric power.
