“On the level” has a lot of meaning. From a building perspective we all want to know work was done on the level. We want our counters level, our floors level and our windows and doors level so they open and shut easily.

On the same day, I was in Port Carling at the locks. The picture above shows the small locks – wide open and look! The water between the upper lakes and Lake Muskoka is ‘on the level’. That is a sight we rarely see. It’s likely a 75 year occurrence. It goes to show ‘on the level’, can be a rare experience.
